Smallest Tire Size?

When I bought my car (used) the dealer had just replaced the tires, and of course put on the smallest/cheapest they could get. They were 215/60s.-Travis
99 Trans Am, Pewter, A4 Forged, stalled, and cammed
85 Buick Regal WH1 T-Type It\'d be cool if it ran...
94 Camaro 3.4, Teal, M5 The daily beater

215/60 is not the cheapest smallest possible, it is acually the stock size for the camaro. I believe that for a 7.5 inch wheel, 205 is the narrowest tire you can run. But you may run into trouble trying to get a 205/xxR16, it really isn't common.
For a snow tire, I run BFG Blizzack 215/65R16 on all 4 corners. They ran about 90 bucks a tire after shipping from tirerack.com. Winter driving can be scary enough in a camaro, I wanted good rubber so that my car stands a chance of staying on the road.
215/60R16 (or 215/65R16) is a fairly common sizing, so you should find it in a wide selection of tires. Since you live in WI, you probably know about Mills Fleet Farm? I worked at one for a few years selling tires, check out their Vertex IV. I had them on my moms '84 LeSabre on the rears for a winter, and they where pretty good in the snow. If you have your heart stuck on snow tires, Fleet Farm has some cheaper snow tires too. I can't recomend them over the Blizzack, but they are at least better than an all season tire.\'96 Camaro Convertible
