Well i figured i have to put one on with the package or my handling will be off. Ive read cons and pros for both, but the level 1 is basicly 1LE except for the shocks/springs. What size bar do you guys have with the package?

I'm honestly baffled. Why would you think that? The purpose of the rear bar is simply to get the handling right. Alot of people don't even like to change the rear bar. Alot of V8 guys who autocross never even swap theres. If I were you I would go to www.stranoparts.com and ask for an opinion.

Well i figured since the v6 has smaller sway bars and jumping to a front 1LE swaybar, i would at least want to put a 19 on their. Thats what i was leaning towards.1999 Pontiac Trans Am M6 Far from stock.....

This may also have something to do with classes. You can replace your front sway bar and still compete in stock class, but changing the rear sway bar puts you into street prepared class.

You're right about what the rules say.
But if you read the posts on the V8 boards you'll find that, unless they have very stiff front springs, the fast guys usually use 19mm rears, even in the classes where a bigger bar is permitted. The overwhelming comment is that the 21mm bar causes too much oversteer.
Sam Strano sometimes uses a 21mm rear on his modified car, but he sometimes uses a 19mm rear, depending on the track. And that's with 500 lbs/in front springs, which makes a big difference in what rear bar you need.
I am constantly amazed by the recommendations for a 21mm rear with the soft stock V6 front springs. There is _no way_ that is the hot setup. Even the 19mm seems to me to be too much. Of course SLP knows this - it's not an oversight or cost savings that causes them to not use a big rear bar on their handling package.
