I figured that one out quickly. My favorite was when I was leaving the dealer in the Camaro and getting on the freeway. I reached down to slide the seat foward, and grabbed a lever. I didn't even know what I was grabbing. I pulled it and pitched foward.
I had been driving the Firebird for eight months and never noticed the lever. I don't know how I missed it.

that's because firebird owners aren't too keen when it comes to simple things.
glad to see some of them smarten up when they buy a Camaro though

If you can break the tires loose in a cloud of smoke and the "TCS OFF" light is not illuminated, then you do not have TCS.
FWIW: You cannot have "SGS" (Second Gear Start) and "TCS".Jason McCallister, Founder & Webmaster<br /><a href=\"http://www.wtfba.org\" target=\"_blank\">West Tennessee F-Body Association, Inc.</a><br /><br />2000 Camaro - <a href=\"http://www.wtfba.org/site/view_member.php?ID=68\" target=\"_blank\">Details</a>

I have SGS, I push the clutch in and put the shifter in second, then feather the clutch out while I give it some gas .
My "Low Traction" light comes on whenever my front wheels loose traction, like if I go into ABS or go over a rough road and I don't have Traction Control.

The ABS system is what trips the low trac light. It's a warning to the driver that braking could be difficult/dangerous.
With traction control, the low trac light is also illuminated if the rear wheel(s) slip (with TCS On). If TCS is on, the PCM will close the throttle body to a pre-determined level until traction is regained. LS1's have the throttle controlled TCS in addition to the PCM pulsing the brake(s) with the traction problem.
