  • Sounds like a deal? Is it?

My shocks/struts are extremely worn. I've been needing to replace them for a long time but i havn't had the cash. Whenever anybody rides in the back seat or i hit a bump too fast, there's this loud hollow pop from the back right shock, and it'll be nice to finally have it gone.

I found these on ebay. Let me know what you think.

These are DeCarbon Take-Off Shocks and Struts from a new 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. These are being sold with no reserve. They fit all 1993-up Camaro, Firebird, and Trans AM. This auction includes 2 front struts and 2 rear shocks and have less then 5 miles on each of them. Don't be fooled by other selling similar shocks, these are the real deal and we have sold over 100 sets. Standard upkeep suggests the replacement of your shocks at 40k-50k miles. You local dealer sells these for $493.16(plus tax), and they are exactly the same! This suspension system is in new condition as it was removed from a brand new Camaro Z28 at the factory to have a custom suspension installed. Put the performance handling back in your car for a fraction of what it costs from the dealer. These shocks make an excellent upgrade for 93-02 V6 Camaros and Firebirds also. They have some scratches on them only from being removed at the factory. Original bushings and hardware may be needed for install. Buyer to pay fixed cost of $25 for shipping, handling and insurance due to the excessive weight of the package. Payment by money order due within five days of end of auction. E-mail about other forms of payment before bidding. Item will be shipped within approximately 5 business days of recieving payment. The item usually ships much faster, but just in case. California residents are subject to 7.25% sales tax. Will ship to the 48 continental U.S. by ground service. Will ship to other places for additional cost. E-mail us for any other performance parts you are interested in. Thanks

sounds pretty good. Is there any pictures? And also check out the sellers feedback and comments...ebay can screw you over. But if his feedback is good then its probably cool.

Ask him how long the shocks have been settin there, cause they haven't made a new Camaro in a little while now. Either that or the car's been settin a while. Did they ever install a custom suspension at the factory? Another thing, how was it driven 5 miles before it left the factory? I assume he means dealership, but ya gotta question everything.
You could prolly replace the rears really cheap, and not even have to get em off of ebay. Check your local parts store. The fronts are different though. I got the Bilstein HD shocks and struts for $320 shipped from bimmerparts.com. So, you could prolly get a better deal somewhere.
