EXACTLY, it's probably doing slower.....one 15.5 timeslip doesn't mean sh** if you can't show that you can run it consistently. You probably don't show the rest of your timeslips because they're all mid-16s, not because you wouldn't be able to get a race.... Prove me wrong, please. I'd like to see someone besides Mustangeater who has run a mostly stock 3.4 to consistent mid-15s.

    As for the tires, I'll have to check those out. My Potenzas suck *** for drag racing.
    </font>
For all you know I have a big shot of gas and a top end built for the nitrous. ;) Besides, my car hasn't been to the track in MONTHS so I honestly have no idea what it does now.. Probably is slower, its older :mad: Oh, and reason I dont show my slips on here is because a few idiot ricers from around here know where I post and like to try and get info on my car so they can "tell me what I have done to it" :rolleyes:
    </font>
You build the top end of your car for nitrous? Brilliant. Shows how little you know.

      You my friends are newbs to racing. I know of a stock 1996 Mustang GT in Houston that'd LOVE to race you Sick Sixx homos. And yes, he is stock Come on, its a 1996, you nut riders talk more trash about them than 3.4s...

      So Timbo, I post a 15.5 timeslip.. All that shows is my car has DONE a 15.5 -- doesn't mean thats what its still doing.

      As for posting time slips and not getting races.. Well, you wont get any good ones, how else do you plan on making money if you cant hustle someone in to thinking your slow? You sure as hell think I am ;)
      I have never said anything about 96 GTs on this board... I dont know what youre talking about.

        Yet you continue to post... even in this thread with insults directed at me. You do not know me at all if you think that I bash anything with a 3.8, shows how little you know. Why would I go to a different site if I bash everything but a 3.8? Seems that I should stay at a 3.8 site right?

        I will point out again that you have continued to post trash that has nothing to do with tires... what does that make you ...a piece of trash not worthy of being picked through by even the nastiest and dirtiest of bums? Cool.

          Someone just lock this ****. He's whored it to the point where nobody know WTF we're talking about.

          Oh, and just so you know.. A top end built for nitrous includes everything BUT pistons/rods/crank/block ;) Cam profile, modified intake manifolds, heads, fuel system, yadda yadda yadda. But yeah, someone please lock this. The troll has yet destroyed another thread.

              anyways....kumhos suck I have set now, Ive driven in a car with the asxs on it...and I still hate em, they have sh*t traction very soft sidewalls and unfortunatley for me, they wear like iron....we just wrapped some eagle F1's on my moms benz and they are a huge improvement to the michelin pilots we had on there....the $1200 price tag for tires hurts but oh well, its worth it.....oh and please keep bickering it keeps me laughing on my saturdays at work

                you guys are all pathetic, the dude is talking about the difference his tires made, and you go and cut down 3.4's i don't care if you didnt say all of them were slow, you were basically ratting on them. I would love to race btw.

                  and plus, the 3.4's have much better low end stock than 3.8's. im suprized you guys can spin em without dropping your clutch.

                  there i said basically what you did to breezy.

                  btw, nice tires. I'm thinking about getting some.

                      I have ASX's and I think they are a great tire so far.. I'm waiting to see how they wear with me driving.. I've cut 2.05 60fts on them with Torque Mgmnt kicking my butt, so when I get my PCM back tomorrow and get used to the adjustments TSP made. I'll be going to the track on Friday to test the results. I'm hoping for 1.9x or better 60fts...I'll report back after I run.. ;)

                            2.05 with an All-Season Tire is a pretty damn good time. What pressure and size are you running?

                              MY 3.4L woudl light the tires up alot easier then my 3.8L ever did...

                              3.4L is more like a truck motor, with more bottom end and less top end, and the 3.8L is more rev happy up top...

                              Either way... jeez just let the guy post about his tires...
