  • Quote for Kumho's...

The guy quoted me $130 a tire, it includes installation. I'm going to show him a price I found on the net, maybe talk him down. But is this price ridiculous? Going to shoot for 105 a tire with instalation. Does that sound ok?

Look for around $90-$100 per tire and $40 for install. Shouldn't be more then that.

It should be more like $110/tire after tax including installation... no higher than 120/tire tops with install.

      They're not expensive tires.

Alright, I'll talk to him and look around some more, I should get a better deal than 130 a tire.

daWhoady, how do you like your Nitto 450 Extremes?

The kumhos are better than the nittos. The price depends on what size your getting too though. But $110 is about right.

i got mine for $114 per tire i believe. all my quotes were between that and $120. $130 is too high, shop around some more first.

edit: i just realized you never said what size you were going with. that makes a difference. assuming stock rims. you going with 245's, or the 255's? $114 for for 245/50/16's.

              I paid about 450 for all 4 kumhos (255/50/R16), Z rated Ecasta's...

That included installation and free rotation & balancing for the life of the tire, definitely worth it in the long run.

That was at discount tire btw.

they matched another shops price -- the other shop was running about 130 a tire, but buy 3 get one free. Went w/ discount for the free rotation & balancing.
