• Control Arms VS Trailing Arms

Call me a moron, but I don't know that much about suspension. Whats the difference between Control Arms and Trailing Arms? Thanks.

Trailing arm is a type of control arm. Our rear LCA (lower control arm) is a trailing arm, but the front upper and lower control arms are not.

So, take RKSport for instance, the LCAs and the Trailing Arms will fit in the same spot? Why do they sell both? Is one more suited to drag racing? Are the Control arms made for the front, and the trailing arms for the rear?

Looking at the RKSport site they have two brands of LCA, one called trailing arm, the other control arm. They are the same. Both are welded tubular, which I personally will NEVER recommend to anyone to put on their car.

Yeah I wouldn't buy them, I was just using them as an example. You don't recommmend welded tubular? Or just RKSport? I know you like the hotchkis boxed though.
