Today I hit a curb while swerving to miss a lady on a bicycle who decided to move into my lane without any signal at all. Question is, can this be fixed without having to buy another rim? I have ARE Torque Thrust II's, and it's about a 3-4" dent with the outer lip curled over. It really hurts to even think about it, but I'd love to know that there is some way to have it fixed without forking out another $300 for a new rim. Thanks for your help.

I actually had this experience (with a different car.) I was able to get it corrected real cheap, but it is very possible a new rim is needed. Find a garage that does (specializes in?) that sort of fix and have them look at it. I found one If they can fix it, it saves a lot of cash. Unforntunately 3-4" sounds quite bad. But I know these vary greatly though, it may look bad but structurally not too bad, or just bent and structurally sound. It makes all the difference.
