    I am installing some replacement rear LCAs today and need to know how high to torque the bolts...I looked in my two manuals but neither one has the specs... Please help fast...I am doing them Wednesday morning....

      My 1996 F-Body service manual says:

      Rear Axle Lower Control Arm Bolt/Screw - 80 Ft. Lbs.
      Rear Axle Lower Control Arm Nut - 60 ft. lbs.

        Tighten until you cannot tighten anymore. The rubber bushing will eventually start spinning on the inside... thats when its tight enough. [img]smile.gif[/img]

            My Hotchkis LCA bolt torque specified 70ft/lbs. I highly suggest not exceeding specified torque on any fastener unless you like suprises. I also suggest the use of locktite or fiberlock nuts for added safety. Install properly - play safely.
            180 Thermo, K&N Filter, Transgo stage 2, Pacesetters, Magnaflow cat, Flowmaster Catback, 3.42 LSD, Hotchkis LCA/Panhard, Bilstein, Eibach Pro, 1LE bars, SP crossdrilled/slotted rotors.<br /><br />Vortech Project 1.0 failed.<br />Vortech Project 2.0 in the works
