Turns out it is my brakes. Got it checked out today. The guy also tried to tell me that my rotors need to be replaced but I dunno about that. When they see a young person in the shop they always try and bs ya.

Since I need new brakes I've decided that I was going to get drilled slotted rotors from JC Whitney ($65 each :)) but I was wondering if you needed a different type of pad or even caliper for them or if you could use the stock caliper with http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/...&storeId=10101 these pads.\'99 SSM Camaro V6 M5
(mod list on cardomain site; too long to list here)
http://www.cardomain.com/id/v6cam99

Don't waste your money on slotted/drilled rotors - get the Amico (sp?) rotors from Autozone and pocket the change for good ceramic brake pads.http://www.cardomain.com/id/kefkafloyd
Red 1997 Pontiac Firebird 3.8L A4 w/ Y87

oh my god, someone has the same problem I have.
Symptoms:
Makes clunking/popping noise
Only on right turns, or over bumps at low speeds, also makes the sound when comming to a stop and transfering weight to front.
From what I have been told, and sources on the f-body faq site say it is a missing rubber cusion above the spring. Very common. I already looked at my sway bars, bushings, control arms, exhaust, I looked for any lose parts. The culprit has to be the springs.
You know what can cause this much faster? Taking right turns hard and swinging out the as.s end of your car. After I did this about 10 times I developed the sound. I rarely take hard corners turning left. Im addicted to taking hard rights though
