Whats up guys. A few months ago my transmission and power stearing was leaking so bad. I took it to western auto and they repaired the transmission leak and said i'd probably have to get a whole new power stearing pump and it would cost around $400 plus labor. So instead to save me money they put some of that **** in it that expands the o-rings or whatever so it won't leak. It's been good for a while. But I think it's starting to slowly leak. I'm not sure where it's leaking from. But when I look down under the car. In the middle of the axle thing it's leaking. How should I go about fixing this. How hard is it to install a new pump and is that really the problem?
I hear the PS on our cars is the first to go, especially when racing / etc. I'm installing a $35 cooler, and you might as well do that while you're down there.
