Ahh i know it's probably already been talked about before, but i don't feel like searching. Anyway I feel like my car isn't grabbing turns that great, it feels like the im not in control and I need to slow down to make it. I have a hardtop and people have said that a bmr stb helps out better in t-top, and vert cars. FOr those of you with hardtops, how well would it help me? And also I saw a few people using the hotchikis stb, and a lot of z28/ss guys use different STB. Is there any difference with the way ours and theirs bolt up? I've always wondered this.
Also what other suspension mods would help me have better turning?
Before you buy parts, work on tires and alignment.
For most tires, you'll want to raise the pressure for better cornering. When I autocross on 245/50-16's, I have the fronts at 38 and rears at 34. With the fronts at "normal" 32-35 psi, they roll under onto the sidewall on hard cornering, reducing grip greatly. Put a dab of white shoe polish from the shoulder block onto the tire sidewall and see where it rubs off on cornering.
Second, get a better alignment. About 4.5 caster, -2 camber (or as much as you can get), and 0 to -1/8" toe out. The more toe out, the more the car will want to grab pavement grooves and otherwise wander, so look for a balance here (I'm going 0)
These will make much more of a difference the the STB will, and are cheaper. For our A-arm setup, the STB doesn't do as much as it does on other cars, but will make a difference.

Me and Jamie have the same type of tire however i'm running Sumitomo HTR+ 245/45/ZR17s and man I don't like them at all. The treadware sucks. My rear tires ruined and they're not even a year old. I wasn't running the right pressure in them. One gauge says 40psi, another says 32, and I bought a new one and it says 28. Does anyone make a tiregauge that I can beleive? It looks like right now im running 28psi I guess. I'm going to look into the alignment soon. I'll do that before anything.
i just put on a BMR stb, it looks pretty sweet but i didnt really notice any to great of a difference. i was told that without a stronger lower chassis support, the stb wont do anything
