    Has anyone installed the Sprint Tech Springs with the 1.60 inch drop. I see them on ebay all the time for 94 dollars a set plust 20 dollars shipping and handling. I know they are cheap, but figured I would see if anyone has these, and if so the opinions on them. Worth it or not?

    that's a large drop. You might bottom out bad.

        I have them. It dropped my car close to 2" in the front and OVER 2" in the rear. My car sits level now. I didn't think my car was gonna drop so low. Over potholes and big dips, you DO bottom out. I have to go over speed bumps slow.

        If you want semi-low springs, go with another brand. If you want LOW springs, go with sprint.

          Thanks, thats what I was afraid of, toooo low! Where we live, hickville USA, the average drop from parking lot to pavement is about 4 to 6 inches. My front air dam looks like it was in ww2. And the bottom of my front bumper isnt far behind it. Mayve a different spring would be wiser for me. Thanks for the great info.

              Seriously, the only practical application of lower springs on a vehicle is to lower the center of gravity so that corners can be taken at excessive rates of speed, such as during racing. However, racing is supposed to be on well maintained and level tracks, so the risk of bottoming out is next to none. Our cars handle fine for the speeds at which the curves are supposed to be taken. Of course, there is the aesthetic argument that springs give you a more agressive look, but on the Camaro, lower springs are guaranteed to make it look like your car chews on speed bumps. With the plastic front fascia I guarantee that it's going to tear up and look horrible because mistakes are bound to happen especially your first few times out while you are getting used to the drop. Let's also not forget road trips to new places or newly constructed roads where hidden dips and potholes lurk. However, it's whatever you want to do. I personally am keeping my stock stance because I like my front bumper the way it is and see no need to drop the car. The integrity of the stock aesthetics greatly outweigh the need to make it look more agressive. Since when is the Camaro regarded as a non agressive car?
