I want to put them on my car. Do u think it's corny to put Vette wheels on a V6 FB? My stock rims are getting old and worn.

Is $1090 a good price for them? They come with 17 inch 245 tires for that price.

I've never been a real big fan of really thin wheels like that.
Too much open space for my taste.
But its not what I like...its what you like.
And yeah, thats a decent price.

for the love of all things sacred please do not put 245 tires on your car.

275s at least.

i think C5's look good on our cars. i'm trying to find some cheap ones for mine.

$1090 was a good price. i've seen 17" C5's for $1450.

i don't know much about tires... what's the difference? and what do the numbers mean? i know it's something about the width, but i'm not exactly sure what it means... sorry if this is a stupid question

Not a stupid question.. everyone has to learn sometime :D . When someone say a tire size like 275/40/17...

the 275 talks about the width, the bigger this number the wider they are

the 40 talks about the "profile" of the tire, the height of the sidewall... the bugger this number the bigger the sidewall.

the 17 talks about the width of the wheel it is going on.

275/40/17 is the most common tire for a 9" wide 17" diameter wheel.

So 245s would be very narrow compared to a 275 tire. Tires are the direct opposite of women... fatter is better.

i have 245/50/ZR16 bridgestones on my car and i cant break them loose unless im going around a corner real fast. if this is for 4 wheels and tires thats a good price and a pretty good sized tire as long as you are stock. once you get quite a few mods done then 275's in the rear would be awesome but untill then you should be fine. and hawgs are you feeling sick? you were actually nice, i had to read that twice to make sure you werent really saying something cruel.
