I'm thinking about replacing my front springs with V8 takeoffs from SLP. Any opinions on that or is there going to be any problem as far as handling goes or will it sit too high?

From what I understand, your front end will be raised a little bit if you go with V8 springs, because our V6 isn't as heavy as the V8.2003 Zinc Yellow Mustang GT 1 of 701
ET : TBD
But our shenanigans are cheeky and fun! Your front will be slightly higher than stock, but it will work/fit fine if thats what you want to do.
My question is, why do you just want more springrate?

Wouldn't the V8 springs reduce frontend dive under braking? The difference between a 3800 and an LS1 is in the neighborhood of 100 lbs. will it make that much of a difference. I'm thinking about installing them since I will be replacing my shocks with the SLP take-offs this weekend. Or is it just a waste time and $$$$??1999 Camaro Hugger Orange 3800 A4
Mods-SLP SS exhaust, K&N, SLP STB, SLP SFCS, 1LE Sway Bars(32/19), 99 C5 Wheels on 255/45ZR17\'s-17\'s on all corners...Non-Y87

I would guess (I'm not an expert and this is a close call) that there would be a small improvement to your handling. The bigger front springs match the large 19mm rear bar better. They will provide some additional roll control.
Since you already have V8 rear springs on your car (they are the same on V8s and 98+ V6s) and 32/19 bars, this strikes me as a better balanced suspension package than keeping the soft V6 front springs.
Whatever you do, let us know how it all works out. Handling, ride, and car appearance (height).
