Is it to install lowering springs on our cars? Has anybody done it their self? Is this something that a fairly knowledgeable person can do in the driveway? Thanks for any helpful tips in advance :D

I've only played with the rear springs which are easy (time consuming but easy).
I've never touched the fronts cause I would need a spring compressor.

rear springs took me and a guy about 5 minutes and then i got a strut compressor for the front wh ich took about 1-2 hours to pull and put back on
it was a ***** and a half for the front cuz we had to remove the main cylinder for the brakes and what not and then pull the struts
not necisarily hard just too time consuming for my taste

those springs need to be compressed quite a bit which means they have a lot of energy just waiting to be released...done correctly its not diffiicult I hear, but I also hear its best to leave to the professionals so the spring doesnt take your head off

Get yourself a Haynes manual if your gonna try to do this yourself. It has all the directions for changing out both sets of springs. Go down to Advanced auto(or nearest parts store) and pick up a set of spring compressors[~$20](grab the haynes manual while your down there if you don't have it already.) If you have any other questions just email me at MA5ornelas@aol.com . I just swapped out my stock springs/struts with eibach springs/KYB AGX struts. Hope this helps.
