• TIRES TIRES TIRES :)

OK need some advice here, I am thinking of 2 things....

    1. 17 in ZO6 Rims and Kumho 712's-$1,526.00 out the door

    or

    2. Keep stock chrome 5 spoke rims, and go with some tires,(not sure which ones yet) size 245-50-16. Anywhere from $400-650.

My dilemma is spending alot of money for rims and wheels, and if I go with just replacing the tires, I am worried that going from 235-55, to 245-50 will show to much wheel well. I found a tire diameter calculator and it looks like the sidewall will go from 5.08in to 4.8in, which does not seem like a big difference, but I just wanted to hear some of your thoughts. Thanks.
What\'s her last name? I\'ll look it up.
You know I don\'t recall. Swim, Swammy, Slippy, Slappy, Simmons, Sommons, Swenson, Swanson?
Maybe it\'s on the briefcase.
Oh yeah! It\'s right here, Samsonite! I was way off! I knew it started with an S though!

Then buy the 245-50-16 tires, and with the extra money left over from the 17" tire/rim deal, buy a lowering kit for the car. :D

Personally, I'd go with the 17" rims ;)

Nah. I am not interested in lowering my car because it is a daily driver, among other reasons. But thanks for your input.

Okay, well them 17" rims/tires you described sound like they would look awesome! Send pics if you buy them!
