ok i got my slp lcas and panhard rod in the mail the other day so last night i was gonna put them on. the panhard rod was no problem. took the stock right lower control arm off and got the SLP one ready to put on and with the car being lifted on the pumpkin there was like 3-4mm of chassis flex that prevented the installation of the new control arm! by this time (females were over distracting/killing time) i was ready to call it a night, so of course the stock lca wouldn't go back on with the flex, so i lowered the car back down. now I have ground effects, so my ground clearance is somewhere in the 3-4" range! i managed to get up under there enough to determine that the bolts were lining up with the car on the pavement, but i dont know if i have enough room to work with the try and bolt the new one on! is there any specific place i can jack the car up thats not going to affect the LCA mounting bracket lengths? right now im rolling around with SLP panhard rod, stock left control arm, and no right control arm. lemme tell ya with the transgo shift kit you almost lose control of the car with the 1-2 shift and no control arm

When I removed my axle I had no problem getting the control arms back in there. You do realize that axle is free to move back and forth(pivot if the torque arm is connected) a little with the control arms disconnected. You just have to use some muscle to move it into the desired direction. I'm guessing you took off the arms and the axle shifted a pinch. It will happen. Remember to tighten them down while the car is on the ground.
