Just because nobody posted doesn't mean they don't want to help, maybe they don't know the answer to your question. Other than driveshaft or rearend, not many people start swapping parts from V8's into their cars. Sometimes you just have to be the pioneer. I ran into the same thing when I did my 98+ front brake conversion.
If I had to guess I would say that you probably don't need to swap anything but the rack. I don't see 2 different part numbers for tie rods so it appears they are the same for V6/V8.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>

I'm pretty sure the pinion is part of the rack and is replaced as one unit.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>
