    i got the stock 215/60/16 goodyear aqua tread.. if i got tires like my camaro did would it help times.. they were 245/55/16 firestone firehawk
    3.4....cold air intake, flowmaster, underdrive pullys, 3.42 gears, ngk spark plugs

    yes, a wider tire will improve traction thus improving your 60 foot time and that will make a good impact on your e/t.

        You want 245/50 not 55 profile.

          ok thanks! did your ram air hood help u out.. could u tell a difference from a long cold air intake.

            If you've already got a cold-air setup it's not worth it to make the hood "functional". It's not really ram-air, they're just hood-inducted cold-air boxes. ;)

              so in your opinion it wouldnt be worth it for me to get a ram air hood like u and get the setup

                Not from a performance standpoint. [img]smile.gif[/img]

                Now the hood will save you a nice amount in weight, which is always good. But the "ram-air" is not going to make any more noticible power than a good CAI.

                But that huge filter does look impressive under the hood, LOL.
