  • SLP take-off shocks

Well, I finally got my SLP take-off shocks installed. What a difference! I had the original shocks on with 69,000 miles on them, and it was definitely time for new ones. I don't think you can beat the deal for the take-offs. With shipping and tax, they came to about $65 ($37.50+$25). I paid $120 to have them installed (I don't have the time, tools, or patience), and that included alignment.
The ride feels much better, and handling is great. I can really feel a difference when accelerating. The car doesn't nose dive then jerk back when I shift like it used to under hard accleration.
LCA's are next, then I'll be set!

I had a very similar experience. I replaced mine at 58K and noticed a big improvement as well. That install price is pretty good considering that the labor is supposed to be around 3 hours for the fronts alone, by the book, I think. Doesn't really take that long, but that is what the dealer would charge.

Well, my girlfriend's father knows the guy, so he only charged me for 1 hour of labor ($80) and $40 for the alignment. Can't beat that!
