When I go in for my tire rotation do they have to take the rubber off the rim? do the front rims always stay in front? Thanks Kevin

No, you should not take the rubber off the rim of the tire.
There are two ways to rotate tires, one for Direcational tires (can only face one way), and one for Non-Directional tires (can face either way).
D = Driver's Side, P = Passenger Side
If Directional
D Front goes to D Rear
D Rear goes to D Front
P Front goes to P Rear
P Rear goes to P Front
If Non Directional & RWD
D Front goes to P Rear
D Rear goes to D Front
P Front goes to D Rear
P Rear goes to P Front
If Non Directions & FWD
D Front goes to D Rear
D Rear goes to P Front
P Front goes to P Rear
P Rear goes to D Front

how would they rotate my tires, since i have 245's in the back and 235's in the front? would they just switch the front ones with each other and switch the back ones with each other?

You can't do that if they're directional - you simply shouldn't bother to rotate them at all.
THats why you don't get 2 different sizes! .
You can have the break down the tires and flip them and then rotate them side to side, but youll have to pay for it.... and its not as effective... Next time, buy all 4 tires the same size!

AZ is right, if you want to rotate tires then you have to have all 4 the same. The only advantage to rotation is more even wear. This makes your tires last long.
Now if you don't give a crap about even wear, and making them last longer going with a stagered set is for you. The wider in the rear the less likely your rear end will fish tail.
I noticed you use 245's in the back and 235's in the front. If you want to run stag patter like that maybe change your rear to a 255/50/16. The reason would be because a 235 and a 255 have about the same overal sidewall diameter.
235/55/16 = about 5.1 sidewall inches
255/50/16 = about 5 side wall inches
This makes your odometer read about 0.5% fast. Meaning when it reads 60mph your really going about 59.7 mph. (not to far off)
However, with the stag patter you have:
245/50/16 = about 4.8 sidewall inches
This makes you about 2% fast now when it reads 60mph you will be going 58.8mph.
So basically if you want to keep the sidewall about the same with minimal impact to your spedo then use the 255's on the rear.
