  • 315 wheel well help

    ok i am getting the tires for my zr1 rims next week and i know i have to hmmm... fix the wheel well to make then not rub. How hard is it to do and is there anything i have to worry about and can i just take my bumpstop all the way is that safe? ok well it would help alot if some one could give me some tips thanks
    whisper air lid, ftra, kenny brown sfc, k+n air filter,smooth bellows, borla 3\" cat back ,random tech high flow cat,bfg t/a kds 275/40front 315/35rear

      yeah i have read that just wondering if i can get any more info before i take a sledgehammer to my car

        you will need to cut out some material with a torch, and pound in a good deal with a mini sledge....took me about two weeks to get mine right, centered, and to where it doesn't rub...so much. also, insted of flaring .5" i just bent up the lip inside and did a little paint repair... you'll see what i'm talking about. i would definately suggest having a few helpers. your arms will get tired...it's real tuff metal.

          There's a lot of guys running 315's in the F-Body Road Racing and Autocross forums, check there for a lot of extra info.
