Hi, im trying to fix some problems on my car. Me and my dad changed the drum brakes on my car a while ago. And ever since, the passenger side one grinds a little, it sounds like my car is riding on rails almost. It's not too bad, but it is noticeable. And I need to sell my car soon so I want to fix it. I heard someone say it might be adjusted too tight. I don't know the slightest thing about drum brakes, but what do you guys think it could be. Anyone have this problem?

Yeah, sounds like they may be adjusted too tight.
Look at the brakes with the drum removed, and at the bottom of the brake shoes, there is a metal wheel with grooves cut into it. There will be a piece of metal on top of it holding the grooves inplace to keep the wheel from turning in the up-wards direction, lift the piece of metal up, and turn the wheel up-wards a few times to loosen the brakes.
Hopefully, I explained it enough for you to see. If not, get a manual for basically ANY car with drum brakes, and it will have an illustration of what I'm talking about.
