Rotors and brake pads and anything else

I just found out that my rotors are warpped and that everytime I step on my brakes the ABS kicks in. Someone told me the only way to really fix it is to get new ones. Since I'm gonna get new ones, I was thinking about just upgrading everything else. What company makes the best rotors along with brake discs and pads. Thanx for the help

What kind of car are you driving? I cant answer it without more information about it.

Sorry for the late reply. I'm driving a 2002 Firebird. I went down to a store today, and there is this one rotor that cost like $160 each and they're like super performance rotors.

Unless you are gonna do super-performance driving, go with something a little cheaper and save your wallet. There are rotors on ebay for around $250 for both front & rear, and also cheaper ones too.

Wow, I'm in the process of doing my front brakes right now. Right now I'm just finishing painting the new calipers.

But anyways I paid $109.99 (Plus $95 Core charge) for a set of preloaded Calipers. For the rotors I paid I think 40 a peice.

So it came to just shy of $300, but I'm getting $95 back when I bring my old calipers back in.

Oh, the point I was getting to was, I got the grade under the $104 cross drilled rotors. I really wouldn't bother with $160 ones, thats pretty crazy.

How about this... Brembo OEM replacement rotors off tirerack for $60/rotor

Thats the route I'd go.

Pick a good set of Hawk pads maybe, they seem reliable.
