How do the SLP Take off's compare to my stock 98 v6 camaro? Are they any different? How would they perform compared to a bilstien or some other performance shock? Do they work well on the v6?

i'm not sure about different shocks between years but i've been told by many people on this board that the slp takeoffs make a big difference over stock. they are stiffer so they handle and ride better than the ones we have on our v6's. it's a very good mod.1996 Chevy Camaro SS
#67 of 2,410 made that year with the slp package
Street Lethal Fbody Association Member
http://www.cars-on-line.com/97cam11475.html

They're just the stock V8 shocks (and springs if you get the springs from them). The shocks have stiffer valving than ours, and the springs have a stiffer rate.
I've had mine sitting around for quite a while now, but they should be going on in the next week or two (I hope!).-James

\'96 3.8L A4 Camaro (SOLD)

Also, I feel these are an excellent choice for the money if you're looking to bring back that "new from factory" suspension feel .2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
