Last year I bought a set of c5 rims and tires, the rims are 17.5's and the tires read 255/40/17. I know that Ive made a mistake in not getting 18's for the back or even 18's all the way around. But do you think there might be a way to buy a taller tire? Something to just fill out the wheel well? Without going to highwall like the crap looking stock 50 or 55's. Also a body was in mind, Any advice is helpfull, thanks

17.5"s??? How exactly did you get those...I think you have something screwed up. Your tires say XXX/17-XX which means 17"s. Taller tires will throw off your speedo if you want to get them. 18" wheels will not "fill" the wheel well either...the size of the tire is what determines the "fill" factor. Most people with 18"s get the same diameter of tire as stock so the speedo isn't off. Another thing you might want to do...Take off that wing.<a href=\"http://www.onid.orst.edu/~waltejam/\" target=\"_blank\">98 Bright Red Camaro</a><br />Too many mods to list....check my website

well, it is the appearance section, so people are of course going to throw in their appearance opinions, be it on the wing or tire
anyway, you might get more help on this in suspension.

weel if you dont want 50s the only other thing would be 45s...that would be a pretty tall sidewall probably wouldnt look that good. i would definately consider lowering springs it would look a whole lot better than just adding more tire and u'd get some improved handling. it would also be cheaper than all new tires if you installed them yourself

Hey everybody, I used 2 hate that wing 2, but if you hook the rest of the car up with it, it can be fresh as hell, but the way he has it, its like... what else does this guy have on his car... it kinda leaves you hanging. BUT! I do know some1 in Tennessee with that spoiler and he pulls off this spoiler good as hell. But yea, you've GOT 2 put more than just a spoiler on ur car 2 make it look good.
I can say the paint is fresh! Nice wheels 2!
I'd lower it if I were you and I would also put 18's on the back and a body kit including SS hood or something:)Cardomain> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/id/7camaro7\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/id/7camaro7</a> <br />CarSponsorships.com> <a href=\"http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/sponsor.php?id=2358\">\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/sponsor.php?id=2358\"></a> <br />Webmaster\'s Earn Money Here> <a href=\"http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/index.php?ref=2358\">\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.carsponsorships.com/scout/index.php?ref=2358\"></a>
