    hey guys i just bought napa cermaix pads and was wondering since i am going to be changing my rotors while i am at it , which ones do u recommend with those pads? i was thinkin brembo replacement rotors or autozone blank rotors or even slotted rotors but havent decicded on them yet cuz they seem to be purely for look thing. any help would be great.
    2000 firebird w68, auto, t-tops , 3.42 , k&n, whisper lid, taylor 8mm spark plug wires , bosch spark plugs , 3\"in/out carsound CAT , 3\" i pipe, take off trans am muffler, C6 Z06 rims

    we've talked about this a few times before so a search might yield more information than members feel like talking about over and over again.

    if i was in your place, i would not waste money on brembo or baer rotors... i don't guess you'll be doing any short track racing any time in the future so just go with the ones off the shelf.

    slotted and cross-drilled rotors in our case won't really help- remember, you're decreasing surface area when you drill through or slot a rotor. on top of that, the slots or holes (or both) need to be cast into the blank instead of cut out afterwards or the rotors will be prone to cracking.

    that's why i would stick with plain jane, mom and pop blanks.

      Just get blank rotos, and ceramic pads, youll be fine.
