  • Help me out here

I'm looking to re-do the suspension on my car and I was looking for some help on what kind of set-up would be a good idea. Take into consideration i'm getting the full rear end conversion to 3.42 and LSD soon. Now what i'm looking for is a set-up that still holds up good in the corners but i'm looking for more support in the 1/4 mile runs. So if a few people can compile a list of things i'd appreciate it.

    Thanks alot JR

ok, you asked for it! :D sfc's are needed for both to take care of chassis flex, torque twist, and cornering. lca's are needed to be able to put more power to the ground w/o wheel hop. torque arm is good for anti-squat and anti-dive as well as powering out of corners. adj. phr is good to make sure your rear end is centered. upper/lower control arms to adjust camber settings for both drag and cornering. getting a coil-over setup will allow for lowering your car for less roll in turns and adj. shocks/struts help w/ cornering and drag and can be adjusted at will. the last thing to do when you are getting your entire suspension done is replacing your swaybars. the swaybars at this point will correct any handling problem your car may have. keeping both drag and cornering capabilities will force you to probably get the 1LE sway bars. I doubt you will need anything stiffer. if you are looking into weight reduction as part of the drag racing thing, remember that the more weight you take off, the higher the car will sit in the air.
