  • do we need aftermarket shocks for aftermarket spring

i got eibach proline spring, bring it to the local shop. they said they cannot install the aftermarket springs without the aftermarket shocks.
he told me some car had been flipped over by used the stock shock and put the aftermarket springs in. he told me to get the aftermarket shocks and he will install both shock and spring.
do u think i can put this eibach proline spring on with the factory Z28 shocks without problem. most of my friend never buy aftermarket shocks, they just bought the springs and it work fine.
anyone in here has their stock shock with aftermarket springs on, please tell me what you think

You can do it, but the shocks aren't right for the springs and it wont ride right.

You *really* should have properly valved shocks for those prokit springs.

i recently put some bilstein hd's on and it rides pretty good. if you don't have the money to spend on revalving, just get the hd's.
