First off... yes i know i need these parts:

1- Emergency Brake Cables for Disk Brakes
    2- Disk Rear Backing plates
    3- Rear Calipers
    3- Rear Rotors

I have not yet decided which way i am going to go with the proportioning valve, but im leaning towards skipping it. I have read several posts by mustangeater saying that he never used it and had no ill effects.

My questions are (1) I have heard people go both ways on whether or not the brake lines need to be replaced or modified. From what ive gathered it seems to me that you only need to replace the

now... im not familiar with the brake setup and im wondering what these two pieces are exactly and if they do not come with my calipers how can i attain them?

Ive also heard that the install is not that hard, but id like to judge for myself. If anyone has some sort of guide and could help me out id appreciate it. There were a few people in this thread that seemed to know of some, but the links seem to be dead now

Also, how hard of a job is this install

the "2 small pieces of rubber hose" are the flex hose that runs from the main brake line to the calipers.... look at your front caliper setup and you'll see what these hoses are. get some braided stainless steel brake line. the hardest part of the install should be mounting your caliper brackets, cause ive heard that depending you may or may not have to drill out holes to anchor them down. Once you get your brackets positioned, its just a matter of assemling the parts and bleeding out the brake lines... and of course hooking up your e-brake cable.

are you talking about the hard lines that run from the front of the car to the back, or the flex lines that hook into the calipers? Im going to have to double check, but now that I think about it, I think its steel lines that connect into my drums. hmm.... anyway, your going to want to get a new piece of flexible brake hose to connect to the new calipers. if there is rubber flex hose back there already, i wouldnt re-use it... not for what a couple short pieces of braided line would cost.... to me, its like re-using a condom.

Yes you can use the brake lines over. The only thing i didn't use was the old hand brake lines, which i replaced with the disc ones. Mine was included when i bought the rear discs from speedautomotive.com. You do have to drop the rear axle a little bit to get the drums all off.
