the more brake rotors heat up, the easier it is to crack them under heavy use. molecules expand and the whole surface becomes less rigid than it was when it was cool. the ebc pads reduce heat for longer lasting rotors and have very little brake dust issues to deal w/. that is why I noticed them. I buy several import magazines and that's where i find most of my ideas in. sure, they're rice rockets, but they come up w/ some pretty good ideas about how to get lots of performance out of their cars. look at some of them such as, turbo, sport compact, and super street. these also have the i6/v6 import engines with close to the same displacement as our v6's do.
