I have a TIG welder and Bridgeport drill. So I could make my own sub frame connectors and strut tower bar. I'm afraid though of the space between the intake manifold and the hood. If any one has pics, then that would help. Also where could I weld the Sub Frame connectors too?

Personally I would not recomend welding them to our cars since there is not true frame to weld it too. I was going to weld in my SLP sub frames but when I saw the welding points... uhhh NO!
I bolted mine in and used some loc tite, along with some stover washers so that they can't turn or back out.
It has been solid as a rock for the past year, and really helped stiffen the chasis. Even with some 17x11 ZR1 wheels and big ol' 315/35/17's rolling in the rear.
The only down side was the sub frames are like 2x2 or 3x3 tubing and I weight them before install and it adds about 26lbs to the chasis of the car. However, if you are like me and aren't racing your car and working to get every ounce less off of the car... then who cares! LOL.

I've been interested in making my own SubFrame Connectors for a while now too. I have access to a machine shop, a welding shop, and free supplies. All I need are dimensions. I have a project coming up in Manufacturing Processes, I may make them for it. Is there a way to hook it up to the front tranny mount, and to the rear trailing arms? Or would the distance be so far it would flex too much. My idea is to use triangles. Changing the frame rigidity has little to nothing to do with body roll.
Body roll is affected by:
Spring Rates
Shock Rates
Swaybar Sizes and mounting locations
Tire Compound2002 5-spd NBM Camaro
