I finished installing it yesterday afternoon, so I had to go for a drive to check out the results. The handling is awesome, and the ride's a lot better. Well to me anyway, if my passengers don't like it, they can drive themselves. Turn-in seems more responsive too thanks to the reduced body roll and the poly sway bar ends I put on while I was at it. I love the new lower stance too, although I don't know if it's noticeable to people that aren't like us. But who cares what they think? I love my car!!

I'd have to say that it lowered by about an inch and a half overall if you were measuring from the center of the door. The front dropped more than the rear, so most of the gap between the tire and the fender is gone now. In back, the gap is probably 50-60% less than before. I haven't had any clearance troubles with the wheels/tires and the inner fenders either. I'll try to get some pics soon to post too. Hope I helped.Psykopig16: well the car will run with a broken crank..
RevLimit478: yeah, it\'ll run like a fat kid in summer

yeah, I did it myself, it wasn't too hard other than some rusty bolts that got replaced. I was helped by the fact that we have a spring compressor and lots of air tools. There's a guide to doing it on the YearOne website. Here's the link to it.Spring Install They don't mention it, but you have to bleed your brakes afterwards because of removing the master cylinder. Considering the the old crap parts I had to deal with, and the fact that I'd never done anything like this before, anyone that does most of their own repairs/mods should be able to do it in about a day. Total for me was about 8 hours, but that includes breaking/removing rusted bolts, and trips to Autozone for replacement bolts and bushings.Psykopig16: well the car will run with a broken crank..
RevLimit478: yeah, it\'ll run like a fat kid in summer

i have to get rid of the space in my back tires, and i was looking into the Hd eibach deal, what should i double check to make sure nothing will "hit" or go wrong?
i have a 3" pipe going over the axle, and 9" wide tires not very much room when wheels are turned. (i cant fit my pinky in between the fender and the side of the tire when fully turned.
cangrats on the install, got any before/after pics?- \"So you have something to look at when you\'re talking to \'em\" -
http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=296916

Just a slight addendum to the post about removing the master cylinder. This is not necessary to replace springs/shocks. All you do is remove the bolts holding the master cylinder to the slave and slide it off and out of the way (carefully so as not to kink the brake lines) Then you can do shock/spring work without having to go to the trouble of bleeding the brakes. When you're finished just bolt it back up. This is actually the reccomended procedure from my Chilton's manual.1993 Camaro 3.4L A4 many mods comin for 2004

\"The last thing I wanted was to get in a fight in Jackson, Mississippi on a Saturday night\"

I'm scraping less because now when I have more than just myself in the car, the suspension doesn't compress as much. I have to be a little more careful about driveway angles so I don't scrape the air deflector for the radiator, but not much more than before. As far as my shocks go, I didn't replace them because I put in some Monroe Sensa-Trac's when I first got the car. (The shocks were totally shot when I bought it). So far they work pretty well, the ride isn't too bouncy or too hard. When the time comes to replace them, I'll probably go with some adjustable ones so that I can play w/the settings to get the best ride for normal circumstances, and the best handling for the extra-fun times.
