  • Roll Cage Pictures - Jegster

I've always planned on getting the wolfe 6 pt. roll cage. i love the way it looks, with its bend in the door bars; and the bend in the rear bars. It looks so perfect.

however...SCCA formula d guidelines say that there can be no bends in the rear support bars.

i can't find the rules right now...but i read that they have to be straight.

to get to the point, i'm worried about getting the Jegster cage. are the rear bars straight? how does it fit? anyone have pics?

at any rate...both cages would be illegal in the D1 grand prix

i have located the D1 grand prix rules, and they say the bars have to be at least 2.25 in.

i guess i'll have to eventually bend a custom one...i just didn't want to invest the 700$ in 12' x 2.25" moly sticks + install.

2.25"? Isn't that .... HUGE? WTF! I thought cages were 1.75 and 1.625. I must be behind the times or something. Maybe it is 2.25 and what I'm thinking of is wall thickness?

You can have wolfe make them straight for you at maybe no charge.
