are they aluminum?(front and rear?) my 95's are iron and thats just way to much unsprung mass for me

I just did this swap. You will need spindles, rotors, calipers and hoses. If you get new hubs with the spindles then great, if not it looks like the old hubs could be reused. You will need the new hoses, the old ones will not reach.
Even with the extra weight from the 98+ 1" larger rotors, the caliper is aluminum rather than the 93-97 cast iron, and there's less spindle material too. This results in a 4 lb weight reduction per side.
One set (spindle, rotor, hub, hose and caliper full of fluid) weighs in at 48 lb for the 98+ and 52 lb for the 93-97.1994 Firebird 3.4<br />15.65 @ 86.8<br /><a href=\"http://www.funkz.net/firebird.htm\" target=\"_blank\">funkz.net/firebird</a><br /><a href=\"http://mywebpages.comcast.net/funkz/timeslips.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Timeslips</a>
