• LCA Bushing Combo

I know the 1LEs will work fine, and might work best, for our cars.

But if I go with BMR boxed or tubular, would it be a wise thing to go poly/rubber - or should I go poly/poly?

I have the BMR tubular ones. I got the poly/rubber combo. Mainly b/c I have seen alot of people run poly/poly and they run into alot of suspension bind. In fact, I have seen pics of a guy on the net running poly/poly going around a sharp curve at an Auto X event and the tire on the inside of his turn was lifted a good inch or two off the ground. The car was never desigened to have such stiff bushings, and a little "give" is important to have. As far as tubular vs. boxed, well that is your decision. I know several people on the board are purely against welded tubular designs because they question weld strength. My response is that I have yet to see one ever break on a car and mine are doing just fine. So basically its your choice. If you need peace of mind, go boxed.
Also, though, boxed tubing is slightly torsionally stronger than round tube, but I dont know how much more. Good luck

The rubber/poly combo will be better as far as road noise is concerned. With the rubber bushing on the body end of the LCA's, interior noises will be drastically reduced.

I noticed a LOT more noise with the poly/poly combo I'm running... which was expected.

Ok, first of all, yes I do like my setup.
Second, with the poly/rubber combo, the poly needs to be on the BODY side, NOT the axle side. Think about this. You got a poly bushing because it is more stiff than the rubber one. Where is it going to do u the most good? You would want to but it on the body side, as thje poly bushing will keep the LCA from movind too much from side to side, and the rubber one on the axle would still allow the axle itself to move around a tad but, to avoid binding.
