  • Camber brakets/plates???

So I am going to try to get my car aligned and get some new rubber on when I get it up and running again.

Before I blew the engine I took it to a guy and he said when lowering a vehicle some people use camber brakets or camber plates so that you can get the camber angle really close to perfect...I have NEVER heard of this...and do I need them?

I have BMR lowering springs and Bilstein shocks on my car. It's about 1.5 inches maybe a little more all the way around. I'm going to do the heater hose mod to replace the back spring retainer too.

Anybody heard of these camber brakets/plates???

    Thanks in advance...

Camber plates are used on cars with McPherson strut front suspensions. You have double a-arms. They would do absolutely nothing.

As you lower the car the camber decreases (goes negative). With your lowering you shouldn't have a problem getting on or real close to factory specs.

V6Bob is right, camber plates don't do it for us. Adjustable control arms do the trick at a much higher price.
