    man that blows, i had the tires store down the street from me do it for 20 bucks a strut. wound up paying more cuz one of em snapped (it was old as hell anyways) but still, 100 bucks per strut... uber gay.

      I believe Bobbyz22 is talking $100 for removing the old strut from the car and installing the new strut in the car (which is actually quite reasonable), while Camaro Dom is talking 20 for having the shop remove the spring from a strut already off the car and reinstalling the spring on a new strut; no car involved.

      The latter is what I was talking about. I think farming out that step makes sense even if you're doing yor own.

          haha, well bob u got me at least, i dunno 'bout bobbyz22 tho. yeah i paid 20 bucks for them ot swap out the springs off my old struts.
