  • ABS INOP - clear this?

I burned out a little in my car today and triggered the ABS INOP light - is there a simple way to reset this? I'll take it to the dealer if I hafto, no biggie, but I'd rather just know how to do it myself if its possible.

the abs inop light will remain on until all the vehicle completes 100 ignition cycles in which the fault does not exist or until cleared with scan tool capable of communicating with the EBTCM (abs module). removing batt+ for some long period of time may work too. the first methods i listed are from the 99 factory manual.

I have disconnected the battery for a while and it went away for a couple of months. Only came back on when my battery died.
