  • 1LE A Arms...and poly bushing?

Got a friend thats sellin his 1LE upper a arms. He has poly bushings for them, but never installed. Question is did the 1LE a arms weigh any less than our stock v6 arms do? his car is a 94 1le and my car is a 94 too. Also, is has anyone replaced all the front a arm bushings with poly? I have heard its a noticable gain.

You talking about Anthony? They are probably the same as stock except harder poly rubber. But on a 94 that rubber will have deteriorated some by now. And the ball joints will probably need to be replaced by now also.

As far as poly I was advised against it by many people.

The ONLY difference between 99% of the 1LE and stock parts is the bushings. The only exceptions are the sway bars, because they're bigger.

Good deal. So Dom, you would discourage the polys in the front?

From what I heard poly is not supposed to go there. They are loud and not really for the street. If you really want to upgrade the a-arms get the Global West ones.
