upgrades for Pontiac ws6 formula trans am

Well I'm just about ready to start upgradeing my ride,My question is, on the brake system,what rotors are good,and should I leave 17'' on or would 18'' be cool.. thanks

You cant get larger rotors. It has to match up with the calipers.
These brakes are pretty good anyway, I wouldnt mess with them until your car has enough power to justify it.

I agree with you there.

As far as upgrades, there are several people doing the Z06 conversion for those cars. I believe that includes larger rotors and calipers to match.

A fair amount of people convert to the C5 brakes, but it isn't needed unless you are auto crossing or tracking the car. Your current braking system is pretty nice from the factory. Plus, your regular spare tire won't clear the C5 brakes.

Look into some brembo or some power slot rotors if you want to replace them. Thunder racing carries power slot rotors and they are a site sponsor.

C5 kit is better then ours and if you want to stop faster it will do it. I have been in a Zo6 and that thing could brake. Drive a BMW and then tell me we have good brakes. Its not just for autocrossing. They are not bad but hey you have 17" rims so you can throw on some c5 rotors and calipers with a bracket and have fun.

Thanks folks, I beleve im gona get some different wheels,but probly staying 17''..and gona get new tires,these looking alittle bald... But I was thinking of gettting some black rims with that grey painted trim instead of the bling,blings,since in how this car is more of a kick your *** on the street 1/.4 mile than the other car I used to hace,which was all show,no power... thanks again gents..
