  • Changing rim sizes....

What needs to be done (if anything) to my car when i get my rims? Currently I have the stock 16*8 rims and i am going to upgrade to Eagle 077 17*8 (yeah I know they aren't wide, but unless I can get MORE money that's what I am getting). Will this throw anything off? PLMK!

Just changing out the wheels shouldn't throw anything off. Depends on what tires you will use. If you change the tire diameter, then your speedo will be off, and you will end up with a slightly higher or lower gear ratio.

Someone posted this link a few days ago, you can plug in different tire sizes and it will approximate the diameter. You can use this to find a 17 that will be about the same diameter as your factory 16's.
