QA1 Adjustable shock question...

My friend has 4 QA1 adjustable(5 settings) shocks on his 94 Z28. He is thinking of selling them. My question is.... Will these shocks work on my 97 3.8 firebird. I know they will fit, but will everything be ok since the 3.8 doesn't weigh as much as an LT1??? Also, Will these shocks work on a factory ride height car(my car) or will they work only on lowered cars(friends 94 Z)???? Please let me know what you guys think and tell me any problems that you can think of...Thanks

They'll work fine -- shocks don't affect ride height. Actually, these are coilovers, so they do, but it's adjustable.
I have QA1's up front.

I also have QA1's and I agree they don't affect ride height

Thanks fella's, I just wanted to know if there was any difference between V8 QA1's and V6's, and if they would work with stock springs. Thanks again

One more question, when set on the softest setting how is the ride? On my friends Z is wasn't too bad but he also had eibach springs on the car which i figure made it ride harder than mine would.
