Do you mean change the brake pads or upgrade to disc's???
If you mean just change the pads then purchase a chilton's manual.

The book has step by step photo's and explanation on how to do it.

I know drums don't have brake pads but those thingee's, brake shoes???

It's like, uh, 27 steps or something. I'll be trying it sometime soon. Shoes are cheap though.

Changeing the shoes is easy... if you are talking about converting to disk... you might want to consider a whole axle from a z or TA so you can get the LSD too

I just converted my car from drums to disc this past weekend. I got the whole rear axle from speed automotive came complete with everything. I would make sure you find a mechanic that knows how to do it first or you can do it yourself, but that process I am not sure about. Some questions like the master cylinder and the brakes lines questions came up but this guy I know did an awesome job, he really knew what he was doing.
