OK, I know I'm splitting hairs, but here is my deffinition of "neutral" (not necessarily the safest way) around a corner. Braking hard weight shifts to front tires. Starting the turn front tires grip. Next the care "rotates" (the mildest form of "oversteer" imaginable). Start to smoothly apply the throttle, the car stops rotating (because weight has transfered to the rear tires and now they are gripping better than the front). Full throttle. Apex. Minimal "understeer" off the corner that can be corrected with just a little more steering input and without having to back off the throttle.

Both mashing the gas before the apex of the corner and lifting off the throttle after the apex will cause my car to oversteer wildly. I still concider my car neutral because I'm not fighting TOO loose going into the turn or TOO tight coming off the turn.

Wow, interesting thread. Bottom line here is what works for one person may not be the best set up for someone else. Take Nascar for example. Everyone runs different set ups because each driver is different. Same thing applies with a camaro. A good starting place is to call the manufacturers to see what they recommend. A good place to start is with Hotchkis. The owner of this company developed many parts for suspensions based on his racing experience. Start small and try different springs, sway bars etc. Sometims minor changes can make a huge difference and vice versa. Find a combo that works for you. You can always sell parts that don't work out.
