Q about owners manual tire rotation diagram...*pic*

i dont get the arrows here... if read one way, the back tires would be switched directly with the front ones then the fronts crossed backwards.. ? or the front switched backwards to opposite sides then moved to the front.. ? which arrow first?
The rotation method pictured puts the tires at each corner of the vehicle during its lifetime. Obviously as 98Cam said you wouldn't switch sides if you had directional tires. You just move front to rear on the same side. Which is what I do anyway even though I don't have directional tires just because it's easier to jack one side of the vehicle at a time.
The main reason for rotating is to swap the drive wheels for the non-driven wheels, so the tires all wear out at the same time and you buy a new set of 4 tires. If you don't like buying 4 tires all at once, don't rotate. Drive until your rears need replaced, move the fronts to the rear and buy a new pair for the front.
Flopping sides helps tires wear evenly if you've got a problem with cupping, wearing on outer edge, etc. in which case you should be worried about an alignment, not rotating tires IMO.
yes..thats a directional tire..that "V" in the tread MUST face forward..i always use directional tires so mine only switch front/rear..they never switch sides
Sometimes for a directional tire, it pays to flip all four tires on the rims halfway through the tires life. This gives a new outside edge for those of us who tend to wear the outside edge away first .
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
