  • Whats the biggest tire

You can run on the v6 front Suspension? I have 255/50's in front and they are so close to rubbing. When i ran my winter tires in front which are 205/55's the car rode good but didnt take turns to great, now with my 255's back on the car kinda pulls right and left, is it too much strain on the front end? Should i go to v8 springs in front?

i thought i was crazy,i had 255/40 r 17 kumhos on my 99 all around, and the front end pulled left and right so bad that i thought i needed an alignment.when the winter came,i swapped for some 245/45 r17 goodyears mud and snow tires all around and the steering felt like new,no more pulling, but i did notice some rubbing, very minor.i am running my stock suspension still, was it the kumhos that sucked?or the sizing, this is a good question,i have heard of other v6 owners running the 275s with no problems, but none of them had stock suspension,im assuming that the stock shocks and springs cant handle the bigger sizes...

With the right wheels and proper backspaving you can run up to 315's on all four corners.

My suspension consists of eibach lower springs all around and Z28 take-off shocks and struts front and back. They never rub and I don't have any problems with wear on the front tires. Also running 335/35/17 in the rear on 17*11 rim with no problems. I also have a adjustable panhard bar.

The F-Body, V6 or V8, was designed for 9" or 9.5" x 17" wheels with 275/40ZR17 tires all around. Every time you put new tires on you need to have your alignment done. No wonder you guys are feeling your steering pull even with the 255's, get an alignment!

Yes forgot to mention I had to found the fender wall and massage the inner fender walls and yes you do need a alignment on all 4's. I have no problems with steering and handling is great!
