Help.....I want to lower only the rear.....

I just want to lower the rear of my 94 Firebird. I just want to level it out. The rear is 2 inches higher than the front. I only want to lower the rear about 1 to 1 1/2 inch. Anyone recommend some good springs?? Can I purchase only the rear springs??Ant help would be appreciated, Thanks.

it's really only noticeable on perfectly flat parking lots from a distance.

Besides, it's a muscle car, ment to have that bad *** look.

It is possible to cut part of the rear springs and even it out a little more. A full set of springs doesnt cost that much though, especially used.

If you want a cheap alternative, do a search and you will come across a conterversial free mod to lower the back. There is a rubber spring seat that is under the rear spring. It is possible to replace that with somthing thinner and thus lower the back.

I like that "muscle car look" but even if I drop the rear as much as 2 inches my car will still be higher in the rear than the front, thats how big the gap is. I just want to close the gap in the rear a bit, and level it out. I have 18 inch wheels and their is still a big gap. I notice other Firbirds and Camaros, and my car has a bigger gap than most of them. I think that the early 93,94 f bodys have this gap. Does anybody else have a F body with a big gap in the rear?
