Is there any kind of spacer or mod that we can install to make our wheels stick out a little further from the wheel well instead of being sunk back into the well so far. I would like my wheels to come out a little to they are at least flush with the fenders, is there any way to achieve this without buying a 17 or 18 x 10/11" wheel?? ;)

spacers would do what you are looking for

I think Tbyrne Motorsports sells some wheel spacers in the used parts for sale section. Also you can get some from H&R Springs. I think it costs something like $150 for a pair.<hr></blockquote>
how would springs make the wheels stick out more?

He didn't say springs. H&R makes wheels spacers.

sorry if i was unclear in my post. The company H&R Springs also makes other products, which include wheel spacers. and yes, the wheel spacers will do what you're looking for. Reading the specs on the H&R site, it should put the wheels out about another inch.
Jimmy.

FYI, it's generally not safe to run spacers. They move stress from the inner part of the stud outward. That puts more flex and stress on the stud which increases risk.Keith - Chicago<br /><a href=\"http://www.hptuners.com\" target=\"_blank\">HP Tuners - PCM Reprogramming</a><br /><a href=\"http://www.dxsoftware.com/magnus/\" target=\"_blank\">97 Firebird V6 to LS1 swap</a><br /><b>V8 9.967@132.78</b> 1.322 60\' NA Heads/Cam<br /><b>V8 10.295@128.48</b> 1.363 60\' NA Cam Only<br /><b>V8 10.987@119.31</b> 1.422 60\' NA Stock Internals<br /><b>V6 13.674@98.22</b> NA<br /><b>V6 12.394@104.91</b> N20 100HP

That is why the H&R spacers use a new set of studs that are next to the original studs. The cheaper wheel spacers that you buy at pep boys isn't like this. So I agree that those aren't as safe. Not to mention if you use the pep boys style and don't get longer studs you don't get the lugs onto the stud as far.\" As being is to becoming, so is pure itellect to opinion, so is science to belief, and understanding to the peception of shadows.\" - Plato

So the ones from H&R springs should be ok right? They will probably hold? ;)99 Firebird Vert, Pewter Metalic<br />Fast Toys Ram Air<br />Jet Stage 2 Chip<br />17x8 Mille Miglia Emotion II Plus\'<br />wrapped in 245/35/17 Yokohama A520<br />Rhino Perf. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost positive the studs on the rear axle can't be replaced.~Derrick <a href=\"http://www.appstate.edu/~do54457/\" target=\"_blank\"><i>My Webpage</i></a><br /><b>\'96 3.8L V6 M5 Firebird Y87</b> | <b>162.8 RWHP</b> / <b>196.7 RWTQ</b> <br /><b>•</b> SLP CAI <b>•</b> <a href=\"http://tech.firebirdv6.com/y87.html\" target=\"_blank\"><b>Y87</b> Package</a> - 3.23s <b>•</b> 180º thermo w/ fan switch <b>•</b> TB spacer from DEE<br />1991 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4x4

If you couldn't replace them what would you do if you broke one? Replace the axle? They should be just like every other stud out there where it is just pressed into the hub. I haven't changed one on my car so I could be wrong, but I doubt it.(not trying to be a smart *** ) :D\" As being is to becoming, so is pure itellect to opinion, so is science to belief, and understanding to the peception of shadows.\" - Plato
