Wheel Spacer question......PLEASE READ

Is there any kind of spacer or mod that we can install to make our wheels stick out a little further from the wheel well instead of being sunk back into the well so far. I would like my wheels to come out a little to they are at least flush with the fenders, is there any way to achieve this without buying a 17 or 18 x 10/11" wheel?? ;)

I think Tbyrne Motorsports sells some wheel spacers in the used parts for sale section. Also you can get some from H&R Springs. I think it costs something like $150 for a pair.

He didn't say springs. H&R makes wheels spacers.

sorry if i was unclear in my post. The company H&R Springs also makes other products, which include wheel spacers. and yes, the wheel spacers will do what you're looking for. Reading the specs on the H&R site, it should put the wheels out about another inch.

FYI, it's generally not safe to run spacers. They move stress from the inner part of the stud outward. That puts more flex and stress on the stud which increases risk.

You can buy new rims with slight offset, or bigger tires! Or you can do spacers, but spacers are not really the best idea..

My tires are flush with my fenders, and give it that aggresive look..

That is why the H&R spacers use a new set of studs that are next to the original studs. The cheaper wheel spacers that you buy at pep boys isn't like this. So I agree that those aren't as safe. Not to mention if you use the pep boys style and don't get longer studs you don't get the lugs onto the stud as far.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm almost positive the studs on the rear axle can't be replaced.

If you couldn't replace them what would you do if you broke one? Replace the axle? They should be just like every other stud out there where it is just pressed into the hub. I haven't changed one on my car so I could be wrong, but I doubt it.(not trying to be a smart *** ) :D

Those spacers look pretty good, being as they are hubcentric. They are pretty massive though, 25mm, which equates to 1 inch. Id like to run a spacer, but 1 inch is waay to much, prolly need like 1/2 an inch at the most... although for a stock wheel it might be ok.
